In assignment 1, we concentrated on the various intercultural sensitivity models. There are six different developmental stages. This task taught me about my intercultural sensitivity, which is acceptance. Individuals at the acceptance stage are aware of the existence of different cultures. Assignment 1 was important to me since I learned something that will help me in life and in my job decision. For example, I intend to work in a field that necessitates interaction with a wide range of people. It is critical for me to be aware of my intercultural sensitivity level because it helps me to understand how I interact with individuals who are different from myself and the actions I can take to progress from acceptance to the adaption stage.
