Learning how the world works from the heuristic was interesting and fun. We do things based on being taught through life experiences. Finding out that things I do has a definition is weird but cool at the same time. Its not like I try to do them on purpose either. We are the but are different at the same time. I will take this information and carry it with me throughout my life. 

This past assignment was very enjoyable. Now that I’m in the final years of my college career, I don’t get the opportunity to reflect or talk about myself very much. I usually have to right a paper on research or a topic related to the course. I was able to think back to some life events that help make me the person I am today. I realized that my family and friend group help shape my personally a lot more than I thought. Knowing this no makes me wonder if I have an effect on theirs lives as they do mine. I look forward to more assignments that can make me engage like this again. Its a journey I welcome with open arms. 

Assignment 3 was a fun one to write. Watching the video and determining whether there was intend racism was interesting. Being black in today’s age, I can say I have experienced little prejudice against me. So my view on the world isn’t too effected by hate. I just see people who put out hate and negative energy as people who are hurt and want to make people feel like them. I learned that attitudes are effected my life events and social groups. People who hate certain people try to avoid and prevent them from advancement. In the video you can see that he just wanted to hurt their feelings as much as possible. I like assignments that make me apply new skills I learn in class. I picked this picture to help show that hate shouldn’t used against a social group to hurt their feelings. 

Assignment 4 made me think back to where I was in a relationship. It was fun remembering how they all started. I learned about myself that I won’t settle for anything and I want whats best for me. Also that its common to want someone who is just like you. I picked this picture to represent the topic of the paper. 

For assignment five I had to describe five nice acts I did during the week.  I learned that I do nice things every once in a while. I want their meaning not to diminish from over use. When you are overly nice it can become awkward. Its hard to break our cycle of life to go out our way for someone since we live by our habits. Or we don’t see it benefiting us usually. But personally I liked this assignment for what it was and having me interact with some random people.  We should try ton help one another more often. I picked this picture to show that.
