I took the social media disorder scale and scored a 3.0. A score of 5.0 or above indicates a formal diagnosis of a disordered social media user. I think that their are different patterns around the world due to different lifestyles and the sort of broad questions on the scale. I think if the scale had more questions that had more narrow questions, there would be a better reading on it. However I do also feel it depends on the lifestyle. If a person is famous, then perhaps much of their livelihood is dependent on social media. Or perhaps you live a normal life, normal job, normal activities, so the idea of living on social media is not that intriguing. Whatever the case may be, the scale will be different for every person.
