After looking over the NICE Workforce Framework I have decided that the category that interests me the most would be Operate and Maintain. Narrowing it down to the specialty area, I would say Systems Administration. I have always personally found the installation, configuration, and maintaining of both systems and networks to be fascinating. And something I feel I would excel at. I have been building computers for years and have begun building my own server in my free time. Every single company in today’s day needs systems and networks. And to keep those running and functional, you need system admins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now there is a category that does not interest me all that much and that would be Analyze. While I of course will have to use some sort of analysis in every single role on the NICE Workforce Framework, pursuing a career focused on that is not something I would be interested in. While important, just analyzing data forever would not be something I would do. Now had it been the Protect and Defend category where I would analyze data and determine whether or not the data is a threat and then mitigate it if it is, then I would be interested. That is another category I would be interested in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am really excited to move into the Cybersecurity field and would be more than willing to do any role in any category on the framework, however if possible I would love to be apart of the Operate and Maintain list.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
