Pay it forward.
This assignment was about helping our family, friends and other people in the society. The assignment was about paying it forward. Helping those in need of help. I learned the importance of giving a helping hand in any possible form. I also learned how offering a helping hand to people in need affected my life. I felt very pleased and happy after offering a helping hand.
This assignment was personally relevant to me because it made me realize how I can help people in the society and those around me especially those who have been greatly impacted by the Covid-19. For example, giving monitory assistance to people on the street made me realize how I can make a positive impact in their lives.
This assignment was applied to ” Why relationships matter: the benefits of social support” a chapter that was studied in this course. This chapter is about how important it is to build a relationship and support each other in the society and this assignment was about applying this knowledge learned in class to practice in real life.

I selected this image because it visually shows the act of paying it forward.
Assignment Takeaway 4
Styles of love.
From this assignment, I learned the various types of love and also how my relationship dynamics influence how I relate to others. This assignment applied to an earlier topic I learned in this course “the self-knowledge”. The self-knowledge is about learning who we are and from this assignment, I learned more about myself in terms of how I relate and build relationships.
The assignment was personally relevant to me because it helped me in learning more about the fundamentals of a good relationship. For example, I learned the importance of listening and paying attention when communicating with the one you love. I learned that this helps in building better relationships.

I selected this image because it is about love and it relates to the topic that was discussed in this assignment.
Assignment Takeaway 3.
Prejudice.
From this assignment, I learned about prejudice. The way people feel toward social groups and discrimination. I also learned about how Michael Richard reacted toward a social group. This assignment applied to an earlier topic in this course “Attitude formation : How attitudes develop”. These two topics are related in such a way that they are both about human behavior.
The assignment was personally relevant to me because prejudice must not be tolerated and those who prejudice sometimes even do not know they are prejudicing. For example, when Michael Richard apologized for his actions, he claimed he did not prejudice but rather had an emotional outburst.

I chose this picture because it depicts an example of a prejudice statement.
Assignment Takeaway 2.
From this assignment, I learned how my past photographs reflect who I am. The assignment Applied to a topic that I learned in my philosophy class “the mind-body problem”. This is the issue of what mental phenomena are and how they relate to the physical world.
The assignment was personally relevant to me because it made me realize some of the changes that have occurred in my life. For instance, my old photographs that I took at the biology laboratory reminded me of the time I wanted to be a nurse. I changed my major to study psychology and these photographs reminded me of this important change in my life.

I chose this picture because it reminds me of my time at Northern Virginia Community College medical campus where I studied nursing. I do have similar pictures like this that I took myself. These pictures remind me of the time I changed my major which is one of the most important decisions that I took about my education.
