I resonated with this principle deeply as I have seen that segmented learning works best for me. The Segmenting principle suggests that people learn more efficiently when a multimedia message is presented in sections that the user can control and pace themselves with. This makes sure the user does not miss anything and doesn’t have to go back to a safe spot to try and comprehend the situation once again. Segmentation works best for me personally and I am glad to see it in a study that works well for others.
