Period Movement

I was always interested in addressing period stigma and ending period poverty. That’s why I was elated to hear that Norfolk had a period rally as apart of National Period Day (October 19). I am the Director of Social Media for the Period Movement Norfolk/Virginia Beach chapter.
- Employment (past and/or present work)
- Professional Development (participation in professional organizations, research opportunities, professional presentations or panel discussions, increased duties and responsibilities within a professional organization or job, and any skill-based or social awareness training)
- Involvement (participation in social, religious, or civic organizations, etc.)

Consider providing examples that demonstrate what you did for each experience (e.g., projects, proposals, presentations, photos, videos, link to another site you created, etc.). A tutorial for adding such material is available here.
