Parallel Plan

  1. My parallel major in Exercise Science fails, is Cytotechnology.
  2. I chose this because it was what I first initially enrolled into when I first came to ODU and my deep interesting finding ways to help people who have cancer.
  3. It studies cells and determines whether it is cancerous or not or if it is an infection by any form of bacteria.
  4. Being a Cytologist includes owning a B.S., working under a pathologists, working in a hospital, lab, or university doing heavy scientific research to determine which cells have diseases, whether cancerous or bacterial infections.
  5. I. Not including my math or english class, I would be required to take more chemistry labs or biology labs. This included one chem lecture, and one chem lab and the same for the Biologys.

II. A way to learn more on this field is to shadow those currently in the program. From my knowledge, ODU has labs in this field so shadowing a student from the program would be easiest to learn and see hands-on action.
