Assignment Five:

Assignment five was a very interesting assignment for me. I personally have feelings towards people drinking excessive amounts of alcohol that affects their health however to see Italy discover such a study was something I was very excited to read about. I think that there should be more studies done and the U.S should follow their footsteps. I thought that their findings were not too awfully accurate just from personal family experiences so I would have liked to see them use for people as a part of the study from different cultures. I have never seen a study done like that so to see the start is promising to me.

Assignment Three:

This assignment taught me so much about understanding someones experience through stories. I chose an adventure to Italy. It has always been a personal favorite of mine and so I knew I would find joy in reading about someone else’s experience. The story I followed was so adventurous. It was full of the activities explored and the food and wine tasted, which to me is what Italy is all about. I read through a few other study abroad stories and they were all so different even people who went to the same country. It just showed me that every experience is different but every experience is so full of life and lessons to learn about.

Assignment Two:
Assignment two was all about people who influenced me along the way in life. However especially in school. My family is definitely the top influences without a doubt. Being able to really think about why and how was more interesting to me than I thought. My daughter and my mom are the biggest however when I had to really think about it and write about it, I kept finding myself saying the same responses and not being very detailed. I could go on and on about how important they have been but it is all so similar when it came down to details. This assignment definitely had me thinking, and I enjoyed the assignment.

Assignment One:

This assignment made me think about specific times where working with someone and taking into consideration of what they had to say and how important it was. I believe this assignment will play into effect all throughout this semester because being able to listen to someone else and work with them no matter what cultural they are from is really important in this class. The assignment made me really think hard about all the times I will have to do this in the future and how important it is.
