Introduction
When it comes to training and technology some may how are we able to balance the tradeoff, and also being able to fulfill every that is needed financially while having a limited budget. The first thing to know is what is the meaning of a tradeoff. It Is a discission that has an individual has to make with the promise of a gain in other places. As an example, the individual or company can lose one of the following quality, quantity, or property. With the hopes to gain something better, that is able to bring gain to the individual and or company.
Balancing the budget to bring Equilibrium
The reasoning behind why balancing the budget has a very significant role during tradeoff is because we are losing something to bring a gain to the company or an individual. The point of balancing is to make sure what we are losing and what we are gaining are both good and what it is in the best benefit for the induvial and or company. When it comes to equilibrium, the meaning of it means to balance two opposing forces. So, if I was to be in the position of a Chief Information Security Officer and trying to figure out a way to bring balance to a tradeoff, I would have to consider somethings. The first thing that would need to be considered is the understanding of what we are losing, and to check to see the necessity of it. The second thing would be the knowledge of what I am gaining and figuring out how it is beneficial and seeing what type of growth it can bring. The last thing would need to consider is, how much training is needed for the new gain that we will be getting. Even though training is listed last, it one of the most important due to the fact that training could cause and economic effect. Meaning even though we are getting a good gain, the cost to ensure training is done properly could bring more damaging than good.
Training
Training is a very big factor when it comes to balancing a tradeoff because of the fact that we are gaining something new, meaning that people and the company would need to learn how to use this new gain that we are getting. Having proper training is able to ensure that, individuals are able to understand the functions, and how to ensure that the individuals will also be safe with this new gain. Not only is safety within training is an important role, also the cost of training needs to be considered during a tradeoff. The cost of training could bring a damage instead of a win to a company, causing the gain to be considered a lost. So, during a tradeoff training needs to be a very big factor, to ensure that we can provide the proper training to brining safety.
Conclusion
When it comes to cybersecurity as a Chief Information Security officer, it is needed to ensure that proper equilibrium is needed. To ensure that the proper deals are made to ensure that we are bring safety and a positive gain to the work force. Not only is our concern to ensure a proper gain it is also needed, to ensure that we are providing proper safety. When it comes to a CISO “responsible for developing and implementing an informational security program” (Teravainen, 2021)
