About Bri

My name is Brianna Jackson, but I usually go by Bri. I am 22 years old and will be finishing my third semester here at Old Dominion and will be my final semester as a senior on the Women’s Basketball team. I will be a part of the 2023 graduating class at the end of the spring semester.

I graduated high school from Princess Anne Highschool in Virginia Beach, VA in 2019 and attended the University of Miami for my first two years of college from 2019 to 2021 and also played basketball there. I will be graduating with a bachelor’s in philosophy and have plans to get a masters certificate in counseling.

I am the second oldest with an older sister, a younger sister, and a younger brother. I am 21 years old. My older sister Destinee is 25, my younger sister Jada is 17, and my younger brother Brian is 14. Something a little different with my family is we have helped raise two special needs children, my younger siblings, Jada and Brian, are legally blind and autistic. It made life a little more challenging then usually but has given me a unique experience. One I wouldn’t trade for the world.

My parents are Christina and Brian Jackson. They have been married for 10 years but have been together for almost 23 years now. My dad just graduated with his masters in employee relations and is now working at ODU in the Human Resources department. My mom is now enrolled at ODU to finish her bachelor’s degree.

I am now engaged to my lovely fiancé Ornella-Cinthia, but she goes by OC. She is 25 and just finished school at Xavier University of Louisiana with a degree in accounting.
