Reflect on the Fall semester and the overall experience of your first semester at college.

This semester I have grown so much, I did not think I would do as well as I thought I was going to do my first year of college. I have gown so much by putting myself out there to meet new people and do things I have never done before.

The expectations I had for my first semester where me meeting new people and going well in school. I did not think I was going to have some experiences I had this semester but again everything happens for a reason

Something that I wished I knew when the semester first start is that everything is not going to come easy to you because everyone learns different. If you need help ask, it never hurts to email a professor and ask for extra assistants on anything.

The time I spend when I first started the semester was not as much as I spend now as the semester went on I realized that I needed to spend more time studying because I was not retaining some of the information I was study when It was time for me to take the exam.

My study habits have changed because I know have studied more. I learn what works for me to study as well. I retain the information by making my own flash cards an writing down the information.

The resources that I have used during this semester was going to the chemistry tutoring center and also going to the E portfolio center to help me with my portfolio because I have never used antyhing like this before.

The study habits I will be using for next semester is using the google doc typing tool so when my professors talk during there lecture I don’t have to write and try to listen all at the same time.

The class that I took for the living and learning community was Soc 201S and Hist 104H and both of the classes intertwined with each other because Soc 201S we talking about the social Darwinism and social Darwinism played a part in history as well. Also we talked about the effect racism had on different groups of people.

When we where presented with the different type of majors. I am still interested in nursing but I also became interested in health services administration. I became interested in health Services because I like the business side of things and it would be cool to learn the ins and outs of Americans Health Care system.

Both of the majors could benefit me because as a nurse I can inform my patient about the medical side of things and I can give my patient information about health care.
