Hola! My name is Izzy Brinkley, and this is my Spanish E-Portfolio.

I am an English major with a concentration in creative writing, as well as minoring in Communication. In the future, I’d love to be involved with the publishing industry, either as an editor or something adjacent. In this particular field, being able to understand and communication in Spanish is extremely beneficial. You can communicate with a larger audience, expanding not only the people you reach, but also the opportunities available to you.

I believe that one of the most important things we are meant to do as humans is to connect with each other. One of the best ways to maximize the amount of people you connect with, as well as the quality of those connections, is to learn another language. Spanish, like English, is one of the most common languages spoken around the world, which is why I chose to study it.

I am always excited to continue to learn about the Spanish language, as well as the culture behind it, as well.
