Final Reflection
This fall I learned a lot about college and the transition from high school to college a bit challenging. Throughout the semester I spent around 2 hours per week studying by utilizing quizlets, lecture videos for chemistry, and using the study guides given. However, in the beginning of the semester I did not go about studying in this matter as much as I did further in the year. My study habits have changed a lot of the course of the semester because I began to use the resources given by my professors so I would know what to expect on the homework assignments, exams, and quizzes. I believed the best study techniques that I used were the lecture slides and quiz lets because they serve as virtual flashcards. Although, my study habits did vary with different classes. For example, for my chemistry class I would use the video lectures posted by professor Moloney. However, for my
14 weeks ago I expected college to be more strict ;however, compared to high school, college provides a lot more freedom and lead way. This semester I found the Monarch One database and the library which allowed me to obtain credible scholarly articles and books for my research projects. Also, throughout the semester i did not encounter any resources that were unhelpful in any way which is great. However, fourteen weeks ago I wish I knew and planned how to properly balance my work and school life. This semester I have learned the importance of time management and how to prioritize tasks , and how to utilize research resources such as databases.
