I choose this artifact because it aligns with my own beliefs. I am humanitarian and some of the core values of humanitarianism is to aid material and logistic assistance to people who need help. While doing the activity I thought it was interesting because even though I am quite close to all the 10 people I choose for this activity. I have never really thought about a lot of them in this way, are they happy? Are they selfish? And I was kind of surprised about what I thought about a few of them.

It expanded my thought process for sure, and I think from this point forward I will think more about those aspect of people personalities. Because there were a few people who I am quite close to who I think are selfish and unhappy and I don’t know if moving forward, for my own piece of mind. I should allow those people to have such an impact on the way I feel or how I live my life. Because looking at theirs lives I don’t know if they are someone who I should take important advice from.

Below I have linked my orginal module 11 artifact 🙂

Module-11-Archive-2Download

Artifact 2

The artifact that I choose for assignment two was from module 8, It was the artifact about stereotyping, prejudice & discrimination. In the artifact we had to describe different ethnicities with adjectives, and there was an answer key located below with commonly used adjectives for those ethnicities. My answer was quite different than those of the answer key. I think assignments like theses are important to see how you look at the world and how your peers view it. In the assignment the black stereotypes were commonly negative, but my answers were not I think regardless of race, religion, or ethnicities there are just good and bad people regardless of those attributes.

I learned from this assignment that more than ever we need to change the narrative of discrimination based on race, there are no second-class citizens we are all humans. We all bleed red, and we have breath the same air. In the assignment when younger students were asked their objectives were more positive so hopefully, we can teach younger generations that the pigmentation of you skin does not mean anything more than your ability to stay in the sun.

My visual reprsentation is a photo gallery of how I view american as a white american

Top of the Ticket cartoon
(David Horsey / Los Angeles Times)

ID 111362086 © Rawpixelimages | Dreamstime.com

A rally last June in Washington sought to pressure lawmakers to combat suicide.

Artifact 1

The artifact that I choose was the one from module three, which was the artifact about opposites and similarities related to attraction. I thought it was so interesting to get other people opinion on those topics and how different those opinions were. I liked this artifact most so far because it was an interactive artifact.

The main reason I wanted to study psychology was because I want that connection with people. Through psychology I think you can connect with people and have conversation in a different way. I want to council or teach and in this assignment, I got to interact with people and have conversation about the topic and get into the minds of my peers about topics that maybe would be taboo in an everyday conversation.

Yin-yang is a painting by Chirila Corina which was uploaded on August 2nd, 2019

Artifact 3 The Artifact I choose was from module 11 “Are People Who Help Happier?’.
