The Brooks Crossing iLab has six 3D printers. There are three Ultimaker 2 Extended+ models and three Ultimaker 3 models.
3D printers take a 3D design and use it to create a real, 3D object. This is accomplished by extruding plastic in layers to build the object from the bottom up.
