ATA2

            In assignment 2 we were required to collect several selfies and then write an essay about how those photos describe who you are. I was able to gain some insight into my feelings about myself from this assignment and I appreciate that because it is not something that I do often enough. For me this assignment made me think of something my aunt would always tell me which was that “somebody else’s opinion of you in none of your business”.

 In the essay I wrote about social media and all the ways to alter your reality and appearance on it. I think social media has negatively affected our opinion and ideas about ourselves because it has made us so much more interested in how we appear to others. If I had to take away one thing from this assignment it would be to self-evaluate more frequently.
