In this assignment we were required to take the Styles of Love Questionnaire. The Questionnaire inspired me to learn more about the different ‘love styles’ because it was something I found interesting. I think I was already aware of some of the different styles of love but I just wasn’t able to place name to them. This assignment relates to my recent learnings about Yin, or female energy, which is present in women and men and vise versa for masculine energy. If people were to accept the presence of both kinds of energy in themselves instead of creating this big separation in what is considered feminine or masculine a world of opportunities would open up for everyone. The finding in this questionnaire supports this because women and men scored very closely to one another for each love style proving that outside of the physical differences , men and women share many characteristics. I included a picture of Yin and Yang , that includes the different characteristics of each symbol.

This assignment required that we engage in five acts of kindness over the course of a week. This course often crosses with another course I’m currently taking which is anthropology. In anthropology we have to participate in weekly challenges and the challenge the week before assignment 5 was to do something kind for someone without them noticing. Both instances were personally rewarding because I think everyone gets a little bit of a high when doing something selfless. It even made me try doing something nice for someone who has wronged me and it felt even better to not have to stoop to their level and to maintain my morals on how to treat one another.

I chose this image because I believe that when people think of being kind or act of kindness their mind automatically goes to helping those who look like they need help. When often times it is the people who hide their emotions and problems the best that would benefit greatly from a random act of kindness and compassion. medical-forum-clinical-july-2020-A-adult-male-dealing-with-mental-health-issues.-Anxiety-mindfulness-and-awareness-concept-759×500.jpg (759×500) (mforum.com.au)
