The NIST Cybersecurity Framework

Organizations can benefit from this framework because it can help protect their privacy and civil liberties when their system is compromised. This could also help customers feels more safe and secure in their decision to work with an organization. Considering what I like to do as a hobby could become my future workplace, I could use this framework to protect potential clients financial and personal information when paying for their nail service and as said before it could help my clients/customers feel more secure and trusting. 

Protecting Availability

Availability is very important when it comes to cybersecurity. It is important that users are always able to access their data, information or etc. I would implement disaster recovery programs, off site backups and make sure that we have a system that is always monitoring so we can stay ahead of trouble. Off-site backups could be helpful when it comes to availability because the data will be transported off site ( in a different location) where the data will be saved and protected. Disaster recovery will be helpful because it will help with reducing interruptions and resuming as quickly as possible. 

Ethical Considerations of CRISPR Gene Editing

Some ethical considerations to consider could include discrimination rules, confirmed consent, and privacy. I mention discrimination to include to make sure nobody is refusing treatment( healthcare related) due to discrimination and confirmed consent is important to consider because you never want to share anything without consent. Privacy is also very important because you need to abide by HIPPA rules and with encryption of information
