This course was an examination of the history, concepts and application of interdisciplinary study. IDS 300W provided me an analysis of similarities and differences in academic disciplines and the application of interdisciplinary approaches to a specific topic of study. Taking Interdisciplinary Theory and Concepts also provided me the tools needed to be capable of conducting wide-ranging and inclusive research in combination with analysis that spans multiple disciplines.
