The article identifies social cybersecurity as a pivotal subdomain of national security. I noticed that a lot of the information being presented reflects the journal entries done during this semester. So far, we have discussed different implications that can be utilized to understand social aspects that coincide with cybersecurity. That includes the motivations of cybercriminals, the ways in which researchers can utilize such understandings to predict future cyber events, how social networks interact and influence our understanding of cybersecurity, and the reflection one can utilize to understand how social media can influence behavior. The psychological and social factors will determine the types of implementations needed to protect systems from unauthorized users. Ultimately, social cybersecurity is a fundamental discipline that will influence defensive tactics in the foreseeable future.
