One Conversation Can Change A Life

For my health professional interview, I interviewed Sarah Gerber. She is a licensed practical nurse with an associates degree in applied science. She currently works for a hospice company out of Chesapeake as a hospice care consultant. Her aim is to meet with patient who are in need of hospice and educate them on how it could benefit their lives. She desires for the patients to feel as comfortable as possible with the process so that their is less stress for them continuing to find the help they need. Sarah has been drawn to her job because of her ability to change someones live and help them continue a path of joy within their own lives. Something that I have learned from this interview would be that the health field is very broad. At any level of education there is a need for health professionals. They are necessary to keep the community health and support them throughout their life.
