At the fore-front, I am a mentor. I guide my peers through each of their unique academic and physical journeys. Elevating those around me is a defining aspect of my life. My journey started when I began to notice the effects my actions had on others. I realized that even the smallest gestures can change a persons perspective. These are the morals I live by, along with discipline and respect. My principles were cemented by my time in Japan, which I consider my hometown. After living there for 8 years, the mesh of culture influenced how I conduct myself on a daily basis. The discipline I demonstrate led me to a fitness based lifestyle. This in turn led me to pursue a degree in health sciences.
