The top three things that I have enjoyed learning about in this course are the introduction to Social Psychology, Social Cognition, and The self, which were all introduced in the beginning chapters of the course. I was able to further elaborate on these concepts in my about me page and both blog one and blog two. Moreover, assignment two was a self-analysis in which I made reflections about a group of my self-portraits, as well as took a self-regulation questionnaire, allowing me to further continue discussion regarding the concepts. Furthermore, in Social Psychology, the social comparison theory suggests that people make judgments about themselves by analyzing the self in relation to others. However, in my communication between the sexes class, social comparison theory in discuss in regards to the way in which children grow up to understand their gender. I appreciate when I am able to learn about concepts through multiple lenses.
