Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
In the Assignment “Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) Enhancement Proposal,” I analyzed an existing SSDLC at a tech company and proposed strategic enhancements to improve security integration throughout the development process. This project included a thorough assessment of current practices and a set of detailed, actionable improvements.

Interdisciplinary Integration and Skill Application:
The proposal required a deep dive into software development practices and cybersecurity integration techniques, utilizing knowledge from computer science, cybersecurity, and project management. The enhancements proposed were designed to be incremental yet impactful, ensuring they could be integrated smoothly without disrupting ongoing projects.

Lessons Learned and Problem Solving:
I learned the critical nature of proactive security measures in software development and the challenges of retrofitting security into established processes. Problem-solving skills were honed through developing solutions that were practical, cost-effective, and scalable across the company.

This artifact is pertinent to roles that specialize in cybersecurity aspects of software development, such as DevSecOps. It highlights my ability to enhance security measures within the software development lifecycle, ensuring secure product outcomes from the inception to deployment.
