Infographics are AMAZING!!

I have always wondered how people made all of these different, flashy handouts and now I know. I had no idea these websites even existed. Canva.com is super easy to use. I really enjoyed making the Science is Amazing infographic. I think that would look cute on my desk or my classroom door. I liked how you could choose the colors and formats. Using the presets also made life easier.

I also used pixtochart.com. I found this site more difficult, but still it had lots of cool ideas and ways to create different infographs. I created the Sound and Light comparison chart using pixtochart.com. It was much more time consuming because there were so many different things to change and I admit I got frustrated. However, I really like how it turned out. I like the images and simplicity of it.

  1. Both of the Infographics you posted are nice! They give just enough information without everything being cramped and busy. I really like the sound vs. light post more…maybe because I like compare and contrast situations.

  2. These both look really nice! I love knowing that there are templates to begin with because I don’t feel like I have an eye for design. It gives me the confidence to play around with design knowing I can always go back to the template if I’ve made changes that just don’t work.

    • Absolutely you may use it. I was trying to create something I could use in my current setting. I do like the templates because I am not a super creative person.

  3. I love your infographic! May I use this in my classroom? I am teaching 5th-grade math and science this year, so this would be very helpful.
I think infographics could be used by students as an alternative to a report. I am sure they would love to use the technology.

  4. I really love your sound vs. light infographic! Well templated, good graphic choices, good color choice, and overall just very visually pleasing. You managed to get a good amount of information on there without there being a lot of excess content and avoided making it look cluttered. Hopefully now that you’ve used the program it will be less frustrating next time because I think that your end result is really well done!
