I am pursuing a dental hygiene major. Growing up, I have always known I have wanted to go into the dental field but unsure which aspect. In high school I chose dental as my pathway and studied it all four years. I worked in a dental office as a dental assistant for my senior year, where I learned all of the ins-and-outs of the office and how it flows. This inspired my passion for hygiene. I love how closely the hygienist works with patients to upkeep their mouth health, prevent, and control mouth and gum diseases, while also consulting and operating with the dentist to give the patient the upmost care.
