Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs is made of Self-management needs (Self-actualization), Physiological needs (Esteem needs, Belongingness, and love needs), and Basic needs (Safety needs and Physiological needs). Self-actualization is getting growth needs as well as an increase in motivation, which relates to cybersecurity as you must stay motivated to keep up with the continuously changing software that continues to come about. Esteem needs feelings of achievement. These allow room for the growth of a person’s talent. They’ll feel proud and want to reach higher heights and achieve more. Social media is an excellent example of this. Love and belonging mean having friends and relationships, which can be bonds built and connections kept through contact, which is in most cases needed nowadays through text messages and emailing. Safety needs include feeling secure, which technology plays a major role in home security; local authorities can be contacted instantly via the technology’s ability to detect imminent danger one may be in, as well as a technology providing health monitoring devices. Physiological needs must be met to survive water purification and new-gen farming using all sorts of new tools to pick and pull all kinds of materials all year round rather than waiting and going through possible famines at times so everyone can be constantly fed all with the innovations in technology.
