Cyber technology has impacted the relationship between offenders and victims by not doing something physical to harm someone. With the power of the internet, anything can be shared in a matter of seconds and one single tap of the finger. If someone has a problem with something or another person, they can turn to social media to get back at someone or cause drama. It is sad to say that nowadays but unfortunately most people now like to talk a lot behind a screen instead of settling things like adults and talking to them in person to figure things out. Now as far as given the “short hand” I think that we are the future of security and people underestimate the work we put ourselves through to make sure everyone is safe. Just like the military is put on the front line of defense, people see them and think they’re the only ones that are protecting their country. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes that nobody knows about, and that’s where we come in. Sometimes I feel as if we don’t get enough credit for things but a lot of our work is considered confidential and that also plays a big role into things. With all of these coresponding into one, it goes hand and hand with each other. Just as easy as making a social media post to hurt someone, then you take it a step up to the big boys and now it’s between a country and another country or president and leader of another country and it takes matters into itself. The United States government has a lot of hidden secrets that no one will ever know about. But I’m sure one day everything will eventually get out. Their is just to much conflict in this world for their not to be a reason for “mud slinging” to not happen.(Same topic as last weeks #6?)
