Of the 11 illegal activities mentioned in Andriy Slinchuks article, sharing passwords/addresses/photos, Collecting Information about children, Illegal searches on the internet, using unofficial streaming services, and Recording a VOIP call without consent seem to be the most dangerous. Sharing passwords is never a good idea, as it puts whatever account and information stored behind the password at risk, and other personal information such as addresses should not be posted anywhere where unauthorized access can be obtained. Collecting information on children is morally and ethically wrong, and is extremely illegal to do so. Illegal searches on the internet can also land a user in prison, and some search engines like Google have algorithms set up to prevent certain results from suspicious searches, making searching for illegal things a risk in itself. Using unofficial streaming services can also be dangerous, as it’s a copyright violation, and some streaming websites are unsafe and could put your device at risk for viruses and malware. Lastly, recording a phone call without consent is a giant violation of privacy, unethical, and highly illegal.
