Compared with peers who started working outside academia immediately after earning their degrees, ex-postdocs make lower wages well into their careers, according to a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nature.com\/nbt\/journal\/v35\/n1\/abs\/nbt.3766.html\">study<\/a>\u00a0published today in\u00a0<em>Nature Biotechnology<\/em>.
