Journal Entry One

            I would focus my career on analysis and investigation. I’m inquisitive as to what hackers are learning. It would be very useful to know what kind of attacks are hard to defend and plan accordingly. The parts that intrigue me the most are analysis, investigation, and operation and maintenance. This is because I like mysteries, but I also don’t want to backtrack on old mistakes. The parts that least interest me are collection and operation, overseeing and governing, protecting and defending, and securely provisioning. This is because I want to expand cybersecurity more than defend against it. I want to be part of an organization that learns patterns so that we can help cybersecurity improve everywhere.
