Journal Entry Two
The principles relate to cybersecurity in many ways. One of the biggest ways they relate is falsifiability. This is because, in cybersecurity, we need to think about what could go wrong to stop the problem before it happens. Also, the principles of science have a set order: hypothesis, experimentation, and analysis. I feel that cybersecurity has the same process when trying to defend data. Another way these topics relate is by peer review. The only difference between the two is the process of peer review. Sometimes a result is inaccurate, so someone else will look it over. This will allow for the best results to shine.
