Maslow’s hierarchy of needs relates to my experience with technology. My physiological needs are met when I order food to my house using my phone. Safety needs are met because I can keep my private information in a locked area, and I can access it with a passcode. My love and belonging needs are met because I can keep in contact with my friends and family on my phone and I can talk to them whenever we both have a connection. My self-confidence grows when I play video games. Whenever I accomplish something hard in a video game it makes me feel like I did something not many people can do, even if it’s virtual. I reach my potential using technology by using the internet to fill my curiosity. If I want to learn something, I can search for it on the internet and learn it myself.
