I think that media influences our perspective on cybersecurity in a way that makes it seem like future technology. In some cases, the show or movie will use advanced terms or exaggerated phrasing to make cybersecurity sound very complicated. Sometimes sci-fi movies will make cybersecurity look like futuristic technology even though we already have it in the present. Using words like \u201cquantum\u201d and \u201csophisticated\u201d or saying large numbers with a device name to make it sound advanced. Not every movie exaggerates cybersecurity. In more realistic movies cybersecurity can be as much as blocking someone on social media. In this case it makes cybersecurity seem rather simple.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
