Health Services Administration

I originally chose this major because it offers variety of career paths, all mostly in leader roles. Within this major I am able to gain a broad knowledge of all healthcare positions and how they work in cooperation to improve the community and population. There is also more authority with this major to be able to have a greater impact on people’s lives through the business end of healthcare by directing, supervising, ensuring compliance, and through finances. My goal is to support the deliverers of care.

I do not yet have any experience in this field, however, I do have some experience in the healthcare field through my certification in phlebotomy and the many healthcare courses I have taken over the years.
