In the past 4 years, for me I have been struggling with confidence, my self-esteem, and my ability to do anything Cybersecurity related. I transferred from Virginia Tech, to ODU, to essentially avoid dropping out of college. Since then I have been doing college remote, by my self, with very little verbal or meaningful feedback, other than a “Good Job!” comment on an assignment. So when I began my Internship I was incredibly nervous. However, I quickly learned that I might not be on the level of some Tech people, I can hold my own, with my research skills, command line interpretation, and general knowledge of the Cybersecurity field. One thing though I still struggled with my soft skills, such as communication, and generally people skills.<\/p>\n\n\n

I have worked many jobs before my cybersecurity job, which were more customer facing than my current, this is where I learned most of my “people” skills, I was always a bit shy, but in certain jobs that is simply not allowed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
