As the CISO, making sure our systems are always available is a top priority. Here’s what I’d focus on: Disaster Recovery and Backup Plans, and Redundant Systems. For Disaster Recovery, we’d set up regular backups of critical data and systems to make sure we can quickly restore everything if something goes wrong—kind of like an insurance policy for our data. With Redundant Systems, I’d have backup servers and network paths in place, so if one fails, the other kicks in and keeps things running smoothly.
