WHAT IS THE INTERNSHIP ABOUT?

The clinic allows students to work for a microbusiness and /or local government to provide a cybersecurity as a service offering. More specifically, the CyberClinic is an immersive, hands-on internship designed for students to gain real-world experience in the field of cybersecurity. Throughout the course, students work in teams to provide cybersecurity risk assessments and solutions to small businesses, helping them improve their security posture. Students engage in activities such as design thinking, empathy-driven problem-solving, and risk assessment, guided by expert instructors and industry professionals. They develop key skills in creating tailored cybersecurity frameworks, conducting research, and presenting actionable recommendations to clients. The course also emphasizes teamwork, communication, and client relations, preparing students for careers in cybersecurity with practical knowledge and experience.
