Boredom I would have to put at a 7 to make the least sense because I really don’t feel that the entire premise of this motive makes any sense at all. Children being children and sharing to their friends the stuff that they do and getting put on a sexual offenders list just doesn’t make any sense to me.

Entertainment I would put at a 6 because when people commit cybercrime for fun, they don’t usually want to sell the data as they were planning to just do it for a gag or to have fun doing it. Doing a crime for fun and then selling the data for money doesn’t seem like it’s just for fun to me.

Multiple reasoning would be put at 5 because to me it all depends on what the motives mixed together are. If the motives are set in a way that doesn’t make sense such as with boredom, selling it for money, it wouldn’t make much sense but with recognition and money it would make sense because they usually go together.

Revenge I would put at a 4 because a lot of people tend to go towards revenge for things that happen to them in life. A lot of people when they get either hurt, fired, or lose a lot of money from a company or person, if they can’t control it they usually go for revenge which makes a lot of sense in this matter of cybercrime.

Recognition I would put at 3 because it makes sense for cybercrime groups to want to be famous. If they become famous when they plan to do their crimes, it’ll send fear into the eye of companies so they’ll want to keep themselves protected as well as give the group a challenge to get into their system.

Political I would put at a 2 because a lot of cyber groups want to make sure they get what they want for elections so that the person they want to win can get the place in office. I placed it here because it usually seems to show up a lot during electoral voting and it can cause drastic changes in votes as well as turned heads.

Money I would put at a 1 because a lot of cybercriminals want to make as much money as possible with their skills by hurting a company as much as possible. Having as much money as you can get from the crime can definitely help a criminal either live a better life or help them get stronger. I rank it here because it feels like it makes the most sense since nowadays money makes the world go round.
