I think that the article talks very well about the bug policies, especially since they talk about how they help companies find bugs in code and help people who need jobs. When reading, I noticed that it said that companies try to hire the most complex people for their jobs instead of looking for those who have the most talent in the field. Reading that having more people in the field greatly helps with companies because with more help, things can get done more efficiently. The way that they described that with Linus’s Law caught my eye with how they described how things could be done with people who have varying skillsets to do things differently so there can be more than one way to solve an issue. Explaining also that hackers can make more money on bug bounties if the programs are more complex also shows the extents people will go through to make some money, especially when it comes to computing and hacking but also those who are willing to go through the troubles without making any money but instead to gain experience in it to work on harder tasks. When they noticed that after going through their tests the results showed less bug reports from companies, I’m sure that they may look into getting into hiring hackers that look for bugs on the regular because it helps with keeping things in check for bug reports so that there aren’t any issues in the future.
