I would like to focus on exploitation analysis because doing so would greatly help against Zero Day attacks in the cybersecurity field. I could also use this for helping to rid of any problems that have occurred for long periods of time that possible hackers have taken advantage of. Threat Analysis is something I’d like to focus on as well because learning how cybercriminals perform their actions could help get through situations faster in the future. Cyber Operations seems appealing to me because gathering evidence feels the best way to prevent future threats.
Technical support appeals to me the most because I like to make sure that problems can be solved to a point where it can be solved easily if it were to happen again. Being able to solve certain problems would allow me to note it so that if anyone else has the problem, I can walk them through it without wasting too much of their time to get things done fast and effectively. Cyber Defense Analysis appeals to me because being able to protect systems in a way that can prevent the most is what catches my eye, especially if it means to learn from mistakes so that they don’t occur multiple times.
An area that appeals me the least would be Digital Forensics, even though I’ve learned how to perform some of the things that the field does, I just don’t feel that I would do great at it because I’m not very good at getting information from people. Forensics feels like it’s a lot of digging for information that I don’t feel I’d be comfortable with performing. Network Services is unappealing to me because although it’s great to be safe about protection, a lot of it is related to money and how much is being spent. I’m not a big fan of trying to make sure things are safe while also trying to stay under a budget. Software Development doesn’t entice me very much because when I started learning coding, I was immediately taught the hardest language which made it hard for me to want to stay in it. When I learn other languages will determine if I wish to learn more about it.
