Mid-Semester Reflection
1. My learning style is Sensor Feeler. This is good to know because nurses tend to have this learning style. After learning about my learning style I haven’t tried any new study habits. The reason for this is because I feel my current study habits are working. I might try new study habits if my current ones fall through.
2. Honestly, my study habits are not what I thought they would be. I very rarely study which is completely opposite of how I thought it would be. I tend to study in one of the television rooms on my building level. Usually I study while watching sports. I have occasionally gone to the library to study as well.
3. College has not been what I expected. I expected to be spending lots of time doing work and studying however I rarely do either. I thought that I would be meeting new people all the time but I haven’t made friends with many people. I live on campus and haven’t had any problems at all living on campus, I love it. I love being independent and being on my own schedule.
4. A problem I have is that chemistry is starting to get challenging. I can, and probably will, use the peer mentors in the library to help with chemistry. I want to learn more about the study abroad resources at ODU because I want to study abroad spring semester of next year. A couple of my friends have helped me and vice versa while working and studying for classes. I haven’t attended an interest meeting for a club yet, but I am planning to attend the photography club soon.
