Human power has been proven to be short in comparison to technological power. This is because the reach of technology is massive in relation to a single human’s power. Technology can be used globally and it connects people from opposite sides of the world in an instant. One person is not able to do that without the help of technology. This is referred to as having a short arm or short reach. However, humans are the ones that are creating technology and evolving technology, so should technology get all the credit? I don’t think so. I think humans have a greater reach than you may think. This is because without humans there wouldn’t be technology. Predictive knowledge is said to come from advances in technology because it can use algorithms and other tools to predict future happenings. But I believe it comes from humans because technology got those algorithms and tools from a human manually entering them in. Yes, technology is doing all the work now, but there would be no work done now if it had not been created by a human. Although I believe humans have a good arm, technology is much faster than we can be. It is more feasible to use technology in many situations, such as developing cyber policy and infrastructure. While a human is capable of doing so, it would take a fraction of the time to input these into a technological program and have technology do the work for you. In some cases, technology is also more accurate than humans because it does not have thoughts or problems, it is there to do the job it is given. Sleep and appetite are not factors for technology. I believe we should continue to use this asset and continue to improve it because it saves time and error.
