As of right now, mid way through the semester, I am satisfied with my accomplishments in this course. I just finished the first TalkAbroad of the semester a few days ago, and am proud of my achievement in the conversation. I found myself asking more questions than I have in the past which helps with understanding the language. It’s possible to go through these TalkAbroads and only answer the questions given to you, this may be enough to pass for now, but it won’t give me enough knowledge for the long run. It’s up to me to decide how much engagement I give in return.

My current grade isn’t the best, but I am satisfied. At the end of the day, my goal is just to pass this class, but I don’t want that to mean I don’t put much effort in, I want to give the best I can do to give myself the best chance at passing, and hopefully learn some cool things along the way.
