The ICU life

The health care professional that I interviewed was Michele Preko. The position that Michele holds is she is an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse as well as works in the Post Anesthesia  Care Unit. Preko has received her Bachelors of science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University , she is also certified to be a Nurse Anesthetist so she has her CCNA. Michele was most inspired to go into the health field with the encouragement from her mother and most of her family members being nurses so it made it easy for her to fall into this field. The path Michele took to get where she is was by attending a four year college and passed her nclex and once she graduated she started working. A regular day for Michele is maintaining her patients needs and giving medicine. Michele says she loves being able to see people get better by what they do in the hospital. Preko says the most challenging thing about her job would have to be having to see people pass away as well as having to tell people’s family that their loved ones are deceased.
