The parallel plan I decided to go with is plan b. Where I am going to look into another nursing program. The two schools I have decided to look into if I am not accepted into the Old Dominion University nursing program are Northern Virginia Community college and Virginia commonwealth university. The Northern Virginia Community College nursing program has two deadlines, one for the spring which opens on March 1 to March 15 and the program would start in August  another one starting in the fall which opens on  September 1 to September 15 and the program would start in January. The Virginia commonwealth university application opens January 1st and closes March 1st. The required documents for this application are : Official Transcripts, two letters of recommendation and a personal statement essay. The reason I chose this as my parallel major is because I have a strong passion for nursing. For as long I can remember all I have ever wanted to do is help others. I do not see myself doing anything. To the point where I will do anything in my power to get into the nursing program.
