Study habitsI believe I am doing well in English 110 because I turn in my assignments on time, I make sure I understand the assignments and If I do not I ask my professor for help. The class that I listed as needy would be Chemistry 105 & 106. I have started attending office hours for my professor’s lecture class as well as my TA\u2019s lab class , it is helping me get a better understanding of the work. Transition to collegeI had very high hopes for Old Dominion and college life in general . Anytime I would tell someone I was going to ODU they would always state that it is a party school and also talk bad about the Norfolk area but in all honesty ODU is not as bad as people have made it seem I was expecting crazy parties , seeing crazy things on my way to class but it is honestly just a regular campus so to answer your question no it has not come to fruition. I am most surprised that people do not know how to do their laundry . Since living on campus the toughest thing for me has been not being with my mom and enjoying her company . I am not too sure what has been the easiest for me.MajorSomething I learned about my major that I didn\u2019t know before was how difficult it will get. My feelings for the major have definitely changed. Chemistry has been kicking my butt and I can\u2019t imagine what bio will do to me . I ended up switching my major to Health services admin .Connecting to campusI was having trouble with my writing but I used the writing center to get some feedback on my work . My roommate actually introduced me to the writing and explained how they can help . I attended African Student Association , the reason I chose to attend this meeting was because I am also African and it will help me get closer to my people<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
