This course taught me that cellular processes are complicated and our knowledge is only partial, but growing. I have learned a considerable amount of new information concerning how cells interact and why that builds on top of previously studied material. My focus at Old Dominion University is in general biology so anything on the topic is beneficial in my pursuit. Going into this class I expected a better visualization of what was going on and how it was connected to the rest of biology but I did not get that from this lecture. I did however understand the individual processes going on within cells, just not how it was interconnected with the other material I was learning. It seemed that the information could’ve been taught in any order throughout the semester.
