1. Entrepreneurs can get into trouble with the law by not fully understanding the legal or regulatory environment they are operating in, or by not properly structuring their tax payments. It is critical to set up the structure of your business in the way that is best suited for your particular business or industry, this helps structure liabilities, tax payments, and even regulatory environment.
2. Psychology can help inform marketers about the reasons why people make decisions or why the purchase goods and services. Psychologist can help us understand what people are seeking from products or how to properly explain the benefits of a product to potential customers. Understanding the customer and the type of characteristics they have can help focus marketing and a businesses efforts.
3. The types of marketing that sway my decision making are testing and demonstrations and marketing that respects my time and privacy. Long winded advertisements or intrusive advertisements can often make me avoid a product or service. I appreciate a marketing that shows me quickly its benefits and why I should choose their company.

I can pitch better ideas by structuring my pitch to communicate essential information quickly such as what problem is being solved, explaining how it works, how you will make money, prove traction and customers, and sharing why you or your company is the best person to execute this idea. Prepare and practice the ability to pitch in different environments at different amounts of detail to be ready to take the opportunity wherever you are.
5. My strengths in pitching are my desire to learn deeply about the product and service and to learn deeply about the problem I am solving for the customer. Combining that knowledge allows me to communicate to the customer the benefits and solutions I can offer them. My weaknesses are getting into the environment where I will be able to pitch my product or service. Often it can be difficult to find and interact with potential customers.
